No I wasn't trying to say that! there are sounds in Orbiter if you download orbitersound (but not when camera in vacuum). But in this trailer, when the SS is rotating (in orbit) you can hear the sounds from the propulsors outside. Is it the same in game?

Of course there are no sounds in a vacuum, however it would be rather bland if there were absolutely no sounds produced in the simulator. However, if you prefer Orbiter because there are no sounds, so be it.

I have this game and ive just been astonished by the quality and all the functionality of the Space Shuttle and missions. Truly great game/simulation. Sadly the Shuttle will be retired in 2010 :( I know its a far question but will there be plans to make an ARES I and V sim aswell in the future?

It isn't about the throttle, it is about the engine gauges. Oil temperature, carburetor heat, cylinder head temperature. These are the things you need to be watching when you adjust your throttle. Read the manual, it is very detailed. If you have specific questions, please ask.

More realistic meaning quicker overheating? heh btw, I just made a video of flying the Hughes H1-B, check it out, watch?v=L4tmeHu9GOc I kind of knew the approximate timing of engine overheating given a particular throttle percentage, so I was able to make it near the run way!

It is supposed to. They did make a patch however to make it even more realistic. Those large radials had lots of heating issues.

You can only do it on PC First you have to open the console by pressing the ~ key. If you do not want to learn how to cheat, don't look into it. When you open it type in "TM" (without quotation marks) and press enter. And to get the free flying camera type in "tfc" (without quotation marks) Be warned, you can't move your character with the free flying camera active, you can only reposition the camera.
